About this treatment

Perimenopause and menopause bring real symptoms — hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep disruption, and vaginal dryness. Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy uses estradiol and progesterone with the same molecular structure as the hormones your body produces. Compounded to your specific labs and symptom profile.

Common questions

What is the difference between bioidentical and synthetic hormones?

Bioidentical hormones have the same molecular structure as hormones produced by your body. Compounded bioidentical HRT is not FDA-approved as a finished product, which means it is tailored to your specific prescription but lacks the clinical trial data of FDA-approved hormone therapies.

Is HRT safe if I have a family history of breast cancer?

A family history of breast cancer is not an automatic contraindication, but it requires careful physician evaluation. Your physician will review your full history. If you have a personal history of breast cancer, you are not a candidate.

Do I still need this if I had a hysterectomy?

Women who have had a hysterectomy can typically use estradiol without progesterone. Your physician will review your surgical history and recommend the appropriate formulation.

How long before I feel results?

Most patients notice improvement in hot flashes within 2–4 weeks. Mood and sleep may improve more gradually over 6–12 weeks. Dosing is adjusted based on symptom response and follow-up labs.
